MR2 MK1 TEMPERTAURE SENSOR SWITCH ( FITS 1984 - 90 )

This Temperature sensor switch fits just under the coolant filler cap on the engine block & reads the coolant temperture & relays the info back to the temperature gauge on the dash, in time these can break down inside & give false information.

MR2 MK1 GENUINE NEW OLD STOCK REAR EXHAUST SILENCER MOUNTS.

These mounts hold the rear back box in place, the rubber inner part is often loose or missing altogether resulting in the exhaust system banging around leading to joint cracking.

MR2 MK1 NEW LOWER INJECTOR INSULATOR SEALS

This set of four seals sit at the base of the injectors & prevent fuel leakage under injector pressure, these often perish & fail allowing serious fumes to enter the engine bay. Makes sense to replace these each times the injectors are removed from the head.

MR2 MK1 RADIATOR FAN THERMOSTATIC CONTROL SENSOR

This sensor screws into the Radiator housing & reads water temperature in order to switch the cooloing fans on & off.

A faulty sensor will either make the fans run constantly or not at all, the latter could cause serious Engine damage. Grab one today !

MR2 MK1 4AGE CAM COVER GASKET SET

This is a complete cam cover oil seal kit, this set fits the 4AGE only ( Not supercharger ). The set comprises of 2 x cam cover seals, 1 x spark plug cover seal & 8 x cam cover bolt oil seals, this is a good quality seal kit & I fit them to my own Mk1.

MR2 MK1 Magnetic engine Sump Plug

This magnetic sump plug uses one of the world’s strongest natural magnets known to man, this is important because a magnetic sump plug will attract any metal particles which come away from the engine during it's natural lifetime. Without a magnetic plug these bits of metal with stay in the oil and will cause the oil pump to wear more quickly and can eventually block the pickup to the oil pump causing premature engine failure it can also help alert you in advance to excessive engine wear. A small price to pay for peace of mind !.

MK1 CAM COVER TORQUE BOLT STICKER.

This sticker affixes to the cam cover & gives torque bolt   settings. If you’ve refurbished your can covers then you will know that the original sticker cannot be removed without damage.... no need to worry now, you can get it here !!.

MK1 DIGNOSTIC LINK TOOL FOR FAULT FINDING ETC.

This handy little gadget will save you time & money. When you set your timing & check for stored fault codes on your MR2 you have to link two terminals inside the little diagnostic block in the engine compartment & read the flashes on the dash, many people use a bent safety pin, stripped piece of wire even a bent paper clip, but there is a risk of shorting out another terminal due to the confined space inside the diagnostic block and causing more problems......NOT ANY MORE!

My link tool has pins which fit the terminals perfectly, just pop it in one port and the other end in another port and away you go!!. It’s so easy to use and comes with an information sheet. When you've finished it can be stored in the car for future use, no more hunting for that paper clip or piece of wire when your stranded out in the middle of nowhere, you'll know exactly where it is!!.

With this tool, you can actually see what you are buying unlike many gimmicks which show you nothing until you open the envelope. I am a MK1 owner as have spent ages sourcing out the right tools for the job and I am also a respected member of the MK1 community, this may be a simple tool but its very handy & does what it says.....The best ideas often simplest!!.

I use this on my own MK1 & I wouldn't be without it!

ENGINE LID SUPPORT BASE CLIP

This is a brand new engine lid support base clip, this clip sits at the base of the engine lid support & is often broken allowing the support to sit loosely in the engine bay & running the risk of it falling onto the road below then possibly thrown up into the engine bay causing damage.
