Recycling is hugely important to us all in normal everyday life & is equally important when it comes to the MK1 MR2.

Our MK1's are getting fewer & fewer & unless we start to restore parts as opposed to throwing them away we will soon find these parts unavailable.

We at T&N are dedicated to restoring as many of these parts as possible so that generations to come can still carry on enjoying these fantastic cars.. just like we do !

Below you will find a selection of parts that have been sympathetically cleaned, repaired, given a new coat of paint & a new lease of life, some of these parts are in short supply, so may appear on this page for only a short time, but when new stocks are in they will again be listed, so its always worth checking this page often.

MR2 MK1B RESTORED REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS ( late 1986 – Early 1990 )

This pair of MK1b Rear shock absorbers have gone through a lengthily process to restore them back to original condition by removing every trace of rust over the last 25+ years applying brand new Gloss black hard wearing acrylic paint & fitting them with Brand new Sachs gas inserts to offer the very best in OEM quality handing if not better.

These really do look superb & will transform the handling on your car.

MR2 MK1 RESTORED REAR BRAKE CALIPERS

These MK1 MR2 Rear callipers have been fully restored & now look & work like new.

Below is a list of what’s been done, so you can buy with Confidence.

* Totally stripped & All rust removed back to bare metal.

* Fluid galley ways chemically cleaned

* VHT paint treatment applied.

* Fitted with brand new seals.

* Brand new Handbrake Pawl needle roller bearing inserted, NOT nylon sleeve like some.

* Brand new Bleed nipple included,

* We have kept the originality by retaining the piston due to the quality of chrome plating on the originals ( only if in good undamaged condition ) but this has been highly polished back to as new condition.

* The Slide pins have also gone through the same process of polishing & greasing & now work freely.

* All callipers are quality checked over after this process, then sealed until ready for use.

PLEASE NOTE :- the nature of the Iron used in construction of these original calipers means that there will be pits & marks on the calipers over the years, no amout of cleaning will remove these, & whilst we include a sachet of Silica Gel in the sealed bag, some areas of surface rust may appear due to atmospheric moisture in the air whilst sealed in the bag, this does not affect the operation of the caliper in any way.

MR2 MK1 RESTORED FRONT ANTI ROLL BAR BRACKETS

These anti roll bar brackets fit over the front anti roll bar bushes & take only a few minutes to change, this can be the reason for front end knocking especially if you have recently uprated your front bushes as this shows up any weakness in the bracket.

These have been thoroughly cleaned of all rust, checked for any stress cracks, then powder coated in gloss black so they will last a very long time, these look great once fitted & serve a purpose too !!

MR2 MK1 RESTORED HEADLIGHT UNITS

These light units have been thoroughly cleaned to remove every piece of rust from the last 20+ years & repaired where necessary, the glass lenses have been polished & rubber dust covers cleaned to bring the shine back, then finally the headlamp buckets have been given a lovely fresh gloss black coat & the headlamp base has been treated to a lovely beige gloss coat too, the chrome bezels have been polished too & a new set of bezel screws finish the job perfectly !!, there may be a few small marks left here & there, but essentially these are still 20+ years old.

These will look superb on any restored MK1 & will probably last the lifetime of the car now.

Please note :- the bulbs will be left in situ to purely prevent dust getting inside the units & the bulbs are not guarenteed to work.

MR2 MK1 RESTORED ENGINE BAY TEMPERATURE SENSOR BRACKET

This is a restored MK1 MR2 Temperature sensor bracket & sits in the engine bay just beside the Exhaust cam cover, they often get filthy & faded due to their close proximity to the exhaust manifold.

These have been thoroughly cleaned of all rust, then Painted in gloss black so they will last a very long time, these look great once fitted & smarten up the appearance of the engine bay !!

MK1 REFURBISHED CAM COVERS. READY TO BOLT ON THE ENGINE

These cam covers are superb !!, they have not been just painted like many other "so called" refurbed cam covers, these have gone through a lengthily process to make them look like new !!.
They have been chemically cleaned to remove all the old paint, then a hand process to remove as much Alloy corrosion from the last 20 years as possible ( some small areas may remain as its impossible to remove some in awkward places without sandblasting the covers & this is something we steer well clear of doing for obvious reasons !!)

Once thoroughly cleaned, they have been powder coated using top quality paint to achieve an almost exact colour match as the original Toyota colour, this ensures the colour stays permanent in all types of heat & is hard wearing too, then we hand paint the letters with high temp paint & finish it off with a cam cover torque bolt info sticker as per the original factory finished article.

Once these are fitted to your engine they will transform the look instantly!!.

These are sold on an exchange basis of which there is a £30 surcharge I.E you pay for our cam covers & postage + £30, when you receive our cam covers & they are sitting nicely on your car return your old serviceable covers to us & when we receive them we will refund your £30.

This saves your car from being without cam covers so you can carry on enjoying it !!, this is a lot easier if done via Paypal, but we accept cheques too !.

This boot lid protector was developed because we naturally use the boot lid as a table for tools etc when working in the engine bay and unless we protect it we can run the risk of paint damage to the lid. This protector is made from top quality foam backed vinyl with the MK1 eagle logo heat welded into it.
